One of the most diligent and dedicated members CARES has had, Sarah Bereiter led by example and will be remembered at JHS for changing the school in a truly meaningful way. Sarah’s talent in leadership extended far beyond the walls of JHS; she successfully organized six blood drives and countless other community-oriented events. An important quality that made Sarah a great leader was her ability to motivate and inspire others to exceed their own expectations. Some leaders lead from the front so that others may follow. Sarah made it a point to lead from the center. By doing so, she helped many of her fellow students become leaders in their ow n right and reinforced the spirit of partnership that says “we’re in this together”.
