True leadership is much more than title or position. It is the combination of talent and tact, of purpose and practice. Ryan Gough exemplifies “leadership from the ranks.” Although he held no formal office in student government his senior year, he had a tremendous impact on the Class of ’93 and the entire school community. He applied his skills, using good judgment, to achieve noble goals. His record reflects the practice of positive leadership.
